FIX+ R omnibind
Pre-treatment plaster
Applications
Bonding agent
FIX+ R omnibind is a fast-drying adhesion product used as a pre-treatment under layers of cement and lime. Its very liquid appearance ensures a short drying time on smooth, closed substrates such as existing concrete and tiles. Suitable for use as an adhesion product diluted for porous surfaces, with direct application, damp on damp, of a layer of cement or lime. It is applied using a whitewash brush, roller, brush or with a sprayer device.
Rendering slurry
Applied as a rendering slurry, FIX+ R omnibind is ideal as a coating medium on smooth substrates, increasing resistance to shear stress, including on thick plaster.
Additive
The addition of FIX+ R omnibind as an additive in mixing water enables the coating to be used on a wall heating unit, where there are multiple vibrations and if there is frost. Water absorption is reduced, which makes the coating particularly suitable, for example, for plastered façade plinths (substructures)

Which product is most suitable for my application?
Due to the diversity of applications and surfaces, it is best to use our plaster guide for this.
Is it necessary to apply a primer before plastering?
A primer ensures better adhesion of the plaster mortar to the substrate. This is especially important for smooth, closed and porous or highly absorbent surfaces. Where plaster mortar without a primer would have difficulty bonding properly. In addition, a primer also ensures even absorption of the plaster mortar, making it easier to strip off the plaster mortar and polish it, sand it or finish it with a trowel.
